New Recap Video on the Noble Farriery YouTube

The latest long-form video on the Noble Farriery YouTube channel combines highlights from three long-form videos: two in the works, and one recently released. Noble Farriery Videographer Beth Vicars captured so much great footage in March, and while we get it polished into individual educational videos for farriers and horse owners, this recap offers some key insights into horse trimming technique and advanced shoeing protocols for curious minds.

First off, Principal Farrier Seth Noble works with Apprentice Brendan Wren and Horse Robbie at Skyland Ranch. This was Brendan’s first time going through the whole process start to finish, and with Seth observing, the camera caught lots of useful information and Robbie was left with well-balanced hooves. We can’t wait to share the full video later this month.

The next clip features Podiatrist Brandon King, DVM working at Cedar Meadow Farm. In this highlight from a video posted in March, Brandon explains how you can forge shoes that are fit the hoof while also guiding them to grow outward in places, as necessary. You can see the full version of the original video here.

Lastly, Seth is at Deerfield getting new shoes and a fresh trim on Horse Austin, who had a show the following week. Consider this an appetizer for the three-part lesson we have coming on the subject of proportionality between a horse’s feet. Those videos are each too packed with info for one long video, and this will hopefully get you excited for what;’s to come.
